Terms of use

The agreement

These terms apply between you and Epir AB, reg. no. 556794-9887, Heljeredsvägen 30, 428 37 Kållered, Sweden, which operates SaveYourDay. You accept them when you create an account.

How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy. When you buy Premium, the purchase terms also apply. Where the texts differ, the one most favourable to you applies.

The service

SaveYourDay is a service for lists and tasks. An account is free; Premium adds features as described in the purchase terms.

We develop the service continuously and may add, change or remove features. If Premium gets noticeably worse during your period, we tell you by email in advance, and you can then cancel Premium and get the payment for the remaining time back.

Operation and downtime

We cannot promise that the service is always available and offer no guaranteed uptime. Because we keep developing and rebuilding the service, there will be both planned downtime and unforeseen outages. We prefer to schedule planned downtime when usage is low.

We take backups, but recommend that you download important content yourself under Account settings → My data. If Premium does not work as promised, the purchase terms on faults apply.

Security and attacks

We protect the service with reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections, passwords stored only as hashes, protection against automated attacks, and backups.

We are not liable for damage caused by data breaches, hacking, denial-of-service attacks, malicious code or similar attacks by others, or by failures at hosting and network providers, when we had reasonable security measures in place and could not reasonably have prevented it. If your personal data is affected, we inform you as required by the GDPR.

Your account

• Use an email address that is yours and keep your password secret.
• You are responsible for what is done with your account if someone got in because you did not protect your password.
• If you suspect that someone else has accessed your account, change your password and tell info@saveyourday.com.

Your content

You own what you add. We store and process the content only to provide the service and do not read it, except when you ask for support, when needed to fix a fault, or when the law requires it.

You are responsible for making sure the content does not break the law or infringe the rights of others.

Prohibited use

You may not use the service for anything illegal, try to access other people's accounts or our systems, disrupt or overload the service, create accounts automatically or circumvent the service's limits.

If you see illegal content or abuse, report it to info@saveyourday.com.

Suspension

If you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, we may suspend the account. Unless it would be inappropriate, we warn you first, and we always tell you the reason by email. You can object by replying to the message.

If we suspend an account without a breach of these terms, you get the payment for the remaining Premium time back.

Cancellation and deletion

You can delete your account at any time under Account settings. This ends the agreement. Remaining Premium time is not refunded, apart from the right of withdrawal in the purchase terms.

How long we keep data, and when inactive and unverified accounts are deleted, is described in the privacy policy.

If the service is discontinued

If SaveYourDay is discontinued, we tell you by email at least three months in advance so that you have time to download your content. Remaining Premium time is refunded.

Liability

We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, missed meetings or lost business. Our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the last 12 months, but at least SEK 100.

The limitations in these terms do not apply if we caused the damage intentionally or through gross negligence, and they do not restrict your rights under mandatory consumer law or the GDPR.

Rights to the service

The software, the SaveYourDay brand and the site design belong to us. You may use the service for your own use but not copy it or its code.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we tell you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not accept the change, you can delete your account before then, and if you have Premium you get the payment for the remaining time back.

Disputes and law

Swedish law applies. Contact us first at info@saveyourday.com and we will try to resolve the matter. If we cannot agree, you can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (arn.se) or a general court.
